Resolutions for 2024:

1. 6 months sober at least ( 1 1/2 months already)

2. no anonymous sex ( at least try)

3. stop using social media as much

4. live on a budget.

goals for 2024:

not making any, just grind and focus on building myself and my career.

It is going to the bar or a party and going home with a random girl. And usually involves me waking up not knowing where I am and checking my phone to see if I had her text me her name so it’s not super awkward in the morning when I don’t remember.

I’m right with you for the no drinking! I did 1 year from June 2022-2023, decided last month to quit for good. I started seeing benefits more after the 6 months, so if you can, keep it going!

Goals/resolutions
1- 200 new customers for my business in 2024
2- no booze
3- be conversational in Spanish
4- cut my debt load by at least 1/2
5- workout min 4 days per week
6- grow wicked beard

The debt and Spanish one are on my list too. I’ve been going to bars and just getting sparkling water and lime or a cafe con leche and I drive home after and wake up feeling fine and not questioning what stupid shit did I do last night. I love it so far

Haha, ya, no hangovers is great! Listen to the Huberman Labs podcast on alcohol, it’s really informative. The biggest change I noticed is that my base stress level goes down when I don’t drink, but it takes awhile to get there. I was also taking any money I would have spent on booze and putting it in a jar, it was supposed to be for a nice watch but then I ended up needing it for baby stuff, either way it was nice to have!

How come you’re learning Spanish?

I was supposed to be paying debt down and creating a safety net, but I ended up just spending $300-$600 a weekend on alcohol. So definition feel that.

I’m moving to Miami, a lot of Spanish speakers down there.
