Yeah, the challenge is that with differing employment rules for countries, it's extremely difficult to get a remote job from another country. The recommendation I'd have would be to find USA companies that have a presence in the African country, and then apply to those companies.

Yeah maybe search for Work From anywhere companies? They are proven to hire across the world. But it depends on the country most likely as @Sunbunny31 said

This is the way.
Time zones, taxes, regulations etc. all make it very difficult.
Plus there are tons of SDRs stateside

Solution could be an international payroll provider or setting up an LLC to invoice them directly

Not sure most companies want to make that effort for entry-level employees.

Some companies are outsourcing sdrs and renewal reps, and let the AEs and AMs stay state-side.

Thanks for tagging Kosta.
Primarily it needs to be through looking for outsourcing companies that host US sales accounts if available where you at that are hiring for that role, that's how I got my current one.
If not, you may need to consider other platforms like LI&Indeed in addition to others that may hire internationally in this regard.
Recommend to keep the social platforms as FB and others as your last option, as even if you found any they'll be most probably commission based opportunities only with low to no base.
Good Luck.

@Salessuperhero: Welcome to the war room! Curious, what's the reason you're looking for a role, particularly in US?

If you're based on Africa it's going to be tough.
It's a headache to hire overseas employees for a number of reasons.
Maybe look for us firms that already have presence in Africa?

@Sunbunny31 suggests the same thing but can i know why it is hard to hire from africa?

US companies need to adhere to not only their own country's employment rules and regulations, they need to adhere to the employee's country of residence's rules as well. If they're not already set up with a presence in the country, it's unlikely they'll hire.
It's expensive and challenging to set up new hires externally.

Are you looking to move? I suspect that will be a very difficult work visa.

Very difficult unless you have some sort of specialized skill or education. But I doubt any SaaS, or other, company will go through the effort of bringing you to the US for a base SDR job.

There are US companies with offices there. Dig around and see who's set up to hire locally. Not impossible.
