How to Stand out in an increasingly saturated market

Outbound + Job hunting are so saturated. Everyone wants to stand out.

There are so many opinions.

What I've seen best, I'll stick with the job hunt, is using high status referrals.

Some ways I've seen become more mainstream:

-Voice notes

-Loom videos

How are you standing out in either your outbound or job hunt these days? SO MUCH NOISE HOW DO YOU CUT THROUGH IT

emailing the hiring manager, tailoring resume to job description, using my connections, asking pple if they know pple a girl ik her friend is a national sales director of a pretty large company and so she's setting a dinner up with him and I and she sent my resume to him and he Gave it to the hiring manager so that seems promising

I have a loom in my garage my wife makes tea towels with. Should I ship it to a potential employer?

Itโ€™s all about relevant messaging to the right people. Doing the fundamental things right over and over.

Great you did a Loom Video or Voice Note.. but if itโ€™s shitty then itโ€™s useless.

Tailored messaging with referrals is the best way to move forward in my opinion

I've done something similar, but also using letters of recommendation in the "other docs" category of applications.

Try getting an extra one (or two) to demonstrate your verified credentials from a leader or expert (mine is a VP of Sales and Ops).

The whole repertoire of emails, call, LinkedIn, and video might even make you look more tenacious and resilient.
Currently in a 3rd round interview for a more senior SDR role using this tactic.

Just my two cents!

Research the person and company you are reaching out to and make it about them and their priorities... sounds simple, but most don't do it, so you'll stand out.
