I hate writing cold emails - What do you use?

I am on a smaller team and need to do my own prospecting. There are tools available to do this at scale but I am bogged down trying to come up with messaging. Sales should be about working with clients and not a creative writing prompt, but I need to create a hook to start the conversation. Generative AI is even worse at this than I am from what I have seen so far. I am selling to a higher level buyer in a niche scientific market if that helps clarify the target audience.

Does anyone have any tips, inspiration, or tools they use to get over this hump? How do you keep prospecting messaging fresh and persuasive enough to get responses?

Want to go fast? Use a tool. Want to go far. Be the tool…errr…use your brain.

Prospecting is not difficult if you know your ICP and 2-3 positioning points.

This topic has been actively and thoroughly discussed with many great ideas. Have you tried the Search Bar or SalesGPT?

Since you're just looking to start/create conversation...create 3-5 cold emails. Send 50 of each. Collect data on which ones worked best. Then use that one-two moving forward.

Yea prospecting is annoying but necessary and frankly the way of the world in the sales gig.
1) find an inbound sales gig (no clue how, repvue or something?)
2) create a few solid templates to different contact titles, industries/verticals, and/or product types and see what is working and isn’t and go with that.
3) have any mentors, clients or network contacts that can help with examples, ideas or would work with you on them? Use them. People luv to help especially if they see that you hold them in high enough regard to ask.
Good luck!

There is a few products that could potentially help you on your email copy/sequence journey. (Again this is education you must find what works for you personally, regardless of what any of these awesome community Bravadians have previously suggested:

I use a combination of templates and the Groove app.

Templates are created based on your interactions with customers. Chat GPT can help you to multiply the number of templates you have.

Groove makes it a seamless and almost fully automated system for setting up drip campaigns to break in with new prospects.

Why would you want to outsource the most critical piece of selling? Every singles sales rep needs to be a master wordsmith. If you don't like it now, you had better find a new job because email ain't going away and it's only gonna get harder to get past the noise and spam filters. I personally write every email that goes out from me (I write all my sequences as well) because I know exactly what I want it to say. Does it always work? No, of course not. But why anyone would want to relinquish control of their value prop is beyond me.

Have you tried an AI outreach tool? Not one that "personalizes" based on a famous pub in the prospects hometown. But actually does research on your prospects and crafts it from that perspective? I can recommend one if you DM me. Don't want to promote on here.
