Also have a recent memory of this! When my son was in Kindergarten, his school aftercare program sent the kids home with a box each to sell. A few days later, I notice that the box is...just about empty.
Little dude had taken "just one" more than a few times, but kept the box lid closed, thinking we wouldn't notice. He must have eaten about 20 of them in those few days.

We used to have boxes of 40 candy bars to sell. I used to hustle on the bus and I ended up selling 17 boxes of those candy bars during that particular fundraising period. I still have the record at my old school

There was a kid back in 2017 that stood outside a gas station in downtown Nashville completely unsupervised that was selling these. Box said $1 and he was slinging them for $3 a piece. Kid is going places.
