“Internal organizations” resends my offer

I applied for many sales internships and got a couple offers. 2 from big companies and 1 from a super high growth startup. I decided to take the high growth startup because I have had previous experiences in the space (easier to adapt to). I had my last interview (7 interview btw) around the Jan 5th talking about pay etc. two weeks later they decide to tell me there doing "internal restructuring" that sounds like bs. now I'm left with no internship because of these dudes. I find it embarrassing that some companies can't make up there mind when they put a job posting. Grown adult can't make up there mind it's just embarrassing.

There is no ask here, just a complaint.

Advise you realize what’s going on in the market right now; you’re interviewing in a market where hundreds of thousands are losing their jobs. Thinking that’s BS is very narrow minded. Why would you invest in sales when buyers are pulling back and reducing budgets?

Sometimes we gotta ask ourselves the tough questions in order to grow.

Not to pile on to OP but specifically because of the post: "there" "their" "they're" are also different words

I wasn't trying to be a raging dick about everything or be selfish, so I left some for someone else to make note.

I understand that for you it’s not the outcome you want. But it’s a great lesson learned at a very young age. You thought a high growth start up was the way to go but in the end high reward = high risk.

You ought to reach back out to the other 2 companies. Hopefully the door isn’t closed.

Btw - I get that you’re unhappy but your rant reeks of entitlement. I suggest you take a different approach.

Yeah I’m entitled after 7 rounds of interviews. The other 2 are 50/50 if they have spots etc.

I get rants. I have done a few myself. I usually preface it with “I’m ranting…”

Overall it’s a Tough lesson to learn. But at least you’re learning it early.

Good luck

god damn that is annoying. So sorry you have to deal with that.

but I will also agree with @aenimathis is a BRUTAL market for many full time sales ppl.......interns are going to be SO low on the priority list.

Now i can sympathize with you that they should have made a decision sooner/ let you know what is going on.
