After a lengthy process so far - damn they make sure to qualify their candidates - I am meeting the AVP of Sales for a Large Enterprise AE job. This is the last step before the final panel presentation.
This company is known for letting you own the meeting, so no pre-set agenda, no required preparation. I'd like to approach this in three steps (pre-during-post meeting), and have already reached out to validate our expectations. Purpose-setting is key I believe, and mine is clear: to get an enthusiastic yes from the AVP.
How can I best structure an open 45-minute conversation in a way that doesn't feel like a question-interview, but that clearly shows that I am capable, without giving away the lead? Trying to view it as a sale in itself...
Thanks for your advice!
