Is this burnout or am i just lazy?

Been at my company for 2.5 years, first as an SDR and now a full cycle AE. These past 30-60 days, I just cant find the motivation to cold call. I feel like I just sit here and stare at my computer. I am not meeting daily KPIs and I am not someone who likes to miss.

We've undergone a lot of changes recently too and I have a new manager, Id like to impress, but I feel frozen.

I know what i have to do, but I dont do it.

Ive never experienced this before.

Am I gettting lazy or is this what burnout looks like?

Sounds like burnout. Have you taken some time off lately? Done anything for yourself? Having something outside of work to look forward to both short term (getting together with friends on the weekend or a quick trip out of town) and long term (planned vacation) is important.
That said, in the meantime, just start going through the motions so you're at least doing the minimum. You may be trying too hard to impress your manager that you're freezing up. Do not let the perfect be the enemy of the good - by which I mean, don't get yourself into a position where you cannot take action because you're worried it's not perfection. Your effort is what is important right now to snap out of this.

All REALLY good points right here.
Take care of yourself, and take a bit time if you can.

Burnout. You need some sort of external motivation.
Why do you work? Is there something work pays for which motivates you?

maybe a bit of this and a bit of that? Try taking some time off, maybe 1-2 weeks. See if that helps in any way

If it's not burnout now it sounds like it is right around the corner. Do you have any time off stacked up?
Don't make the mistake I did and try to power through. Burnout is no bueno, and takes months to get back into the swing of things.
Whereas a week off here can definitely.
Keep us posted.

Dig into why you aren't finding the motivation.
Is cold calling not working for you the same way it was? Does it feel like you're spinning your wheels?
Are there better uses of your time? Would your manager be okay with you using other methods if they work in terms of meetings booked?

Sounds like burnout to me, but the line can definitely be blurred. I view SaaS sales as a means to pay for the life I want to enjoy, which I think helps me keep burnout at bay.

This is what burnout looks like. You might have bursts here and there, but you need the time off.

This is burnout. You need to believe that your day has purpose. If you're out of that kind of fuel you need time off. Been there. Sucks. Sorry.

Take some time out. Find your motivation. Remember what is important in life and funnily enough it's not sales.

Whenever I feel the burnout, I think about who in my life benefits from my success in sales. My family depends on me doing well, and I think about where I'll be in 5 and 10 years. Helps make the little stuff feel like it matters more as the building blocks towards my future success.

Also keep in mind that July/August can be tough times to cold call, just given how many people are out of office for vacation, back to school prep, etc so the response rate is typically lower - this might be subconsciously be de-motivating in and of itself. Getting some people to respond once things pick back up might also help get you going again. (But this is after that vacay that everyone else recommended, I support that 💯)
