Is this ENT SDR pay fair?

55k CAD base, mid 80-ish OTE.

Currently MM SDR with the tiny bit lower OTE. Also slightly lower base from post above.

Approached by another company. Will be the first time doing enterprise work (I assume its harder than mid-market).

Is that fair?

Other info

-I have 1.5 yr of SDR exp

-SaaS

FWIW I’m an SDR at a startup reaching out to ENT & SMB accounts and I’m a $50K base with $75K OTE in USD.

This seems fair IMO

How does it feel to you? Seems about right with the conversion rate. Do you otherwise like the company, role, territory, management, product? Can you grow there?

What do you think you’re worth? Thats the question. If you think it’s more, try to get more.

Thanks for your insight. Just been really concerned with the economy and market. Some friends say its good and I should be happy I have an offer (with the tech layoffs). Some say nah. Will think on it more.

Seems like that's within the range for SDR pay. What are you results thus far?

Assuming the opportunity is one that can last, the company is stable, and you’ve got opportunity to grow, the comp seems fair.

Fair by considering that it's your first sales role at an Enterprise.

If your based in Canada this is very good IMO for entry level. Even if in the US it still seems reasonable

pretty interesting that 35% said not fair but not one comment outwardly saying that (I am also team fair)

I'm ENT BDR at the moment. American HQ NZ based
Making low 70's OTE. But nice share package. I think Canada is more expensive but.

Looks pretty fair to me

Seems within range, maybe slightly on the lower end of Ent SDR if you have a couple years exp.

Yes but recommend against the move unless absolutely necessary and you don't foresee any promotion mobility whatsoever within the next 6-8 months.

Ent SDR work is exponentially harder than SMB/MM for less ROI.

What's going on at your current company?

Fellow Canadian here, Canadian comp sucks compared to US. More cashflow right now never hurts. Try to back channel to current team on LinkedIn to assess fit/values, etc.

I made less as an SDR and staying in that role and learning allowed me to get a role with a different (and better) company making much more in an ISR role. Seems fair.
