So after being impacted by another corporate mass layoff in tech sales, once again I'm back on the job hunt with thousands of other Enterprise AEs.
I did discover a trend that some companies have a system in place looking if you have "job hopped" they auto reject your application and never gets seen. It has now happened at three companies, and validated the process with leaders there who never saw my application even come through the system.
The last two years I've be impacted by two corporate layoffs and the third job I left because the next org offered a $50k base increase. So my question is to ask what others have done and or impacted by the same situation. Prior to the last two years I've stayed at companies multiple years until the opportunity for growth doesn't exist anymore. If you lie about your work experience I'm sure it could be caught when people do background checks.
Just frustrating being a top performer winning multiple awards, and constantly getting the door slammed in your face without even getting a look. Right now I've just being trying to connect directly with hiring managers and VPs and anyone willing to take a chance on me.
Any insight others are doing and or experiencing would be helpful!
