Well the way you word it makes everyone go after the 2nd option. I guess you should reword the post on how to have a receptive customer? Is it by killer messaging? Or weeks of stalking and grooming over their activity on LinkedIn for example?ย 

So in a way id never disagree wirh your statement this is my suggestion on how to make it more controversial.

Most prospecting messages don't even get read because the subject lines, hooks of the emails are generic and boring.ย  ย Prospecting is about two key phases.ย  Phase 1 - simply get the attention of the prospect, get them to open and engage.ย  Phase 2 - the value prop: here is where you summarize how you can solve their pain in less than 10 seconds.ย  ย Those two factors, combined with decent timing is where success sits.ย ย
