Lead Generation / Getting a first meeting

I am interested in learning any tactical strategies you all have seen or used with success.

It doesn't matter what product I sell or what you sell. Attempting to think outside the box a little here..... Whats working and whats not?

I mentioned a few traditional ways below. What other strategies has the war room used?

Is Snailmail making a comeback?

1. **Content Marketing:** Create valuable content (blogs, videos, ebooks) to attract potential customers to your website.

2. **Social Media:** Use platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to engage with your target audience and share content.

3. **Email Marketing:** Build an email list and send targeted, valuable content and offers to nurture leads.

4. **Networking:** Attend industry events, conferences, and local meetups to connect with potential clients.

5. **Referrals:** Encourage satisfied customers to refer others to your business.

6. **SEO:** Optimize your website for search engines to increase organic traffic and attract potential leads.

7. **Cold Outreach:** Contact potential leads via email or phone with a personalized message.

8. **Paid Advertising:** Use platforms like Google Ads or social media ads to reach a wider audience.

9. **Partnerships:** Collaborate with complementary businesses to share leads.

I'd add in channel partners. Once you get a couple wins with a team, it can really snowball through the rest of the book of business if you play your cards right.

Founder social posts tend to make the org more human. Then, once the following is of mass, webinar the shit out of them.

There is no secret sauce. Depending on the size of your company/team if you try to do all these you'll get nowhere.

Agreed, I am asking if anyone has executed something unique to generate leads. Iโ€™m not implying to do all these items.

Yeah someone mentioned channel partners as well, but I agree there is no secret to it. However the combination of tools that work will differ based on company/industry/product

Exactly. Hard to offer specific advice without knowing what you sell.

So recently, I have had some success by writing personal letters to the Executive Buyer and including a bottle of wine/whiskey. Around 75% of the time, I will get a meeting.

My point still stands. If you canโ€™t execute a cold outbound strategy then the rest doesnโ€™t matter.

I'd push back on you. I've had a lot of success in this over the last few years. You need to make sure you don't end up as "potential spam" when the prospect receives a call, but a human voice who is calm and intentional goes a long way in the days of robo-spam.

Really solid list! Although measurement is a challenge, I must say I do like getting snail mail that isn't a bill.
