Life must be good working for Salesforce

Had a meeting on my calendar for some Salesforce workshop that our rep arranged. We just spent ten minutes on Zoom and got ghosted. No-show, no email, nada...

I can only assume she's rolling in so many deals that she can afford to blow us off like that.

Maybe they get ghosted so much that they are trying to take back the power balance and now they are the one who gets to ghost prospects ?

We really need to stop shitting on companies in here. It's getting old. SalesForce is a phenomenal place to work and they're ending world hunger.

You ever been ghosted and felt like venting? Did I say that all of Salesforce is terrible? A great friend of mine works at Salesforce, he’s one of the coolest people I know. But I was annoyed and I wanted to commiserate with folks who could understand, and what better place than the War Room to do that?

he forget the /s tag...it's ok. You'll learn that most of what we post that sounds snarky is just a slight at old bullshit from other threads.

Lol, right? I was thinking, the worst part of this is it’s not like we won’t renew anyway. Do whatever you want because what are we going to do, transfer everything over to HubSpot? Yea right! I guess there was a lack of communication somewhere and this was supposed to get rescheduled, so not their fault anyway.

Give them the benefit of the doubt, but also they are Ohana, and Ohana means no one gets left behind, unless you arent signing a contract, then at that point fuck it, they will leave anyone behind

There’s nothing Hawaiian about that culture except for the wallpaper and presidents club.

Benefit of the doubt is the key here. Perhaps they got pulled into a personal matter that took them away from canceling/following up. Never had a bad experience with an SFDC rep before, so I'd give them some grace.

Eesh. That's rough. Maybe ping the person again and see what happened.

Not my meeting so I’ll let someone else deal with that. But I’ve let my boss know I’ll be declining any other meetings coming from Salesforce.

Imagine if your rep ghosted a meeting that you set up for a client and they then said "I am never going to accept another meeting from your company". Would you empathize with that person, or shit a brick because you're an ADR and that's your job? Not shitting on you, but more giving you a dose of reality. Not as fun as piling on in an echo-chamber with you, I know.

lol no doubt, what if the rep had a death in the family or is in the hospital? No need to act like the rep slapped your mother, give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was once in a Salesforce workshop where a co-worker said "I'd rather be getting a lap dance from her" on a hot mic.  That was fucking awkward.

I’ve heard only 1/3 make quota. That 1/3 moves up, everyone else moves out. Managers are constantly interviewing. Can’t be that great.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Every one of former colleagues who went there was/is miserable.
