Need advice!!

I and my friend work for different B2B saas companies (and different products).
A few days back my friend asked for a referral in one of the companies that is already our client. should I introduce him to the client? is it unethical? what you guys would've done?
please let me know!

If you believe he’s qualified and will serve your client well in the capacity he seeks employment, give him your stamp of approval. 3-way win.

If he’s a loser do the noble thing and lie to him.

I see no issue, and especially if it’s a good friend you know will do well. Make the introduction and referral, could help with the client

It is not unethical at all. If it's a good fit, it is a good fit. Go ahead and put in the referral with 0 guilt.

Do it. But there's no need to be vocal about it (especially at your workplace).

Not unethical, I just wouldn't mention it to anyone at where you work.

You can do it, no harm. I personally try to avoid getting into all these.

If you have the contact, make the intro. If there are referral agreements, you can even get a % in rev for it. No issue if you know the product works and would be useful.

If it's someone you trust then go ahead. If the product sucks and you have reservations then default to company policy won't let you

Do it,won't hurt as long as you know he's a good fit, even if not at least let him know the easiest way to reach the recruiting dept. (Email of the hiring manager or the available phone no.)
