PAY ME MY MOTHER******* MONEY

TLDR: I am a contract worker and am considering tearing it all down because agency that contracts me are liars.

Bear with me fam, I'm hot.

Ah friends, how I have missed you. Here I am busting my ass, and after dropping a 150% Quota bomb last quarter I'm leading the national team in Quota achievement this quarter. That's right, the entire country (yeah I know Canada is less populous).

I am going scorched earth now.

I have always been a full-time employee. After getting laid off in December, I accepted a contract worker role.

I love new the company but the agency that contracts me out to them has been so atrocious to deal with I have had it. It's fucking over.

It's interesting because I actually have an Account Manager, so I am the customer too. This rep has been so, so bad, they have cost me 10k + in base due to their outright incompetency at best, and lies at worst.

My commission payout was over a month late, despite others on my team all getting paid on time. Constant hassle to even get my bi-weekly pay on time. Multiple times it's been late.

Final straw was that I was missing a week from my bi-weekly pay, yet again I've simply had it. Matter of principle really.

Life is funny too, as I was DM'd by a recruiter earlier this week. Bet your asses I am taking the interview. So here I am to vent, and take interviews. Enough!

You live and die by your contract. Every time their is a breach, let outsourcing agency know. I would also, if you can, try to work directly for the company you are with. Use the constant breaches as cause.

Could always hire an employment lawyer to write a stern letter with their letterhead. That could be enough to smarten them up.

Otherwise, wait for manager to get back from vacation and see what can be done to cut the agency out.

This happened to me once. After I raised it to the company I was working for that I was interviewing to take a different job because of how atrocious the agency was, even though I loved the company & people on my team, they bought out the remainder of the agency contract and hired me full time. But you gotta me sure the people (especially your bosses boss, etc and the HR exec at the company want you). Go get that burger!

I got screwed out of a 400k commission check because the company didn't negotiate in good faith (ended up giving me $300.) I wasn't in a financial position to take action at the time, but I stopped working after that until I found something new. Get your money.
