Please stop contacting me, Zoominfo

Zoominfo has the absolute worst process for outreach. I have received, no joke, three separate emails TODAY from three separate "SDRs" who are "offering" a thirty minute demo. I have directly told them so, so, so many times in the past to please leave me alone and that I am disqualifying myself and my company. But they keep reaching out.


How do I escape this hell that I find myself in? Usually I ignore, delete and never think of them again, but today it is just too much to not scream at the heavens about.


Also, let this be a lesson that there is a difference between "following up" and ruining any chance of a future partnership.

Do you think they might be reaching out so much because reps under you might be requesting demos?

The only time I have got a message is when I clicked learn more on a feature then got a ton of messages to set up a demo.

Obviously they are doing way too much prospecting to you but curious if something caused it

hahaha omg this is crazy. and not the first time I have heard this.

I tried to get a free trial of them a few months ago and they pretty much told me no unless i bring my CCO on the call.....which was not going to happen

This was me a few weeks ago.

I finally reached out to a VP and pled my case, as well as found their online link to remove all info.

So far I have nothing in my inbox, though one SDR did look at my LI profile this week. I almost got PTSD flackbacks when I saw the notification.

Fun fact I got a confirmation I was on their DNCโ€ฆthen literally today (on a Sunday) I received two meeting requests for demos from two different SDRs. Wtf man.

Doesn't seem like they would care, but you could note back that due to the fact that they won't honor your requests to stop contacting them, this is in violation of spam guidelines and that you will start reporting them to the FTC.

Which you can actually do: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

If you're in another country, look up your local authority.

I will pile on here and say we use Zoominfo (not my choice) and I get SO MANY daily emails that I know are intended to be helpful, but the are not. There is no unsubscribe button, no where to opt out settings that I can easily find, and no one responds when you reply to one of said emails and ask to not get that type of โ€œreminder to help with your dealsโ€ in the future. Truly the worst. #endRant

P.S. I understand my problems are truly โ€œfirst world,โ€ but I have wayyy too many emails coming in.

class="Apple-interchange-newline">go for the head of the snake, call them or chat with them, put your complaint and tell them to please leave the contact (or block their accounts in the mail and you will never hear from them again, even if you want it ahaha)
