Project Tracking

I find some apps insufferable and far more than I need. anyone use any type of planner or calendar for tracking projects? like I have several projects all at once that I'm trying to win over and I want to make sure I'm following up on them. or do I just put post-its on my screens haha

I keep trying to use tasks in SFDC, but it just doesn't work for me personally. Others in my company swear by it, so it does work for at least some people.
I set calendar reminders - that works well for me.

DUDE ME EITHER! Outlook reminders work for me so I get notified on my phone too.

I think it doesn't work for me personally b/c our SFDC admins make our experience harder than it has to be.

I just never got into checking my panel on SFDC every day - and the tasks always seem made up and aspirational rather than functional and specific.

It's also that the time it takes to enter the reminders is greater than the time to actually accomplish those tasks, so it seems like a time suck.

What are those apps that you find to be not working? What are your colleagues using and how are they leveraging the tool.

I use my calendar and SF.

There are many project/task management apps available including free ones like Monday that would also remind your about the tasks. Tried that?

I just feel like clickup for instance is overkill. I just need to check up on the project every so often. Maybe calendar reminders are best

so this should be what you use your CRM for....

If you dont want to do that, I would suggest Trello.

But i am a BIG fan of EVERYTHING stays in the CRM is possible.

I basically spend my whole day in Outreach and use my Google Calendar religiously. Don't really bother with any other planning apps.

I will sound like a 90 year old inefficient oldie, but I go by my notebook and whiteboard in front of me. Nothing digital - just writing it down on a piece of paper helps me immensely!
