Ha that's awesome. I've looked at mouse movers on Amazon, but I don't really have a time at computer problem, just a problem with them tracking my time at computer

Yeah, super creepy. Would love to hear the sales pitch of the person who sold that time-tracking software to your company.

Excuse my French, but I'd tell them to fuck off or speak to management as to why you're being tracked.

If you're hitting your KPIs, I'd tell they're creepy asses to gtfo. I'd specifically want to speak to the person who's implemented this to understand their reasoning.

Are they monitoring clicks or are they just saying screen time?

There is a trick to put the mouse on a watch, which will move the mouse for you
BlueJays2591

That is some BS and what happens if you are in a demo/meeting with some long winded person and you haven't moved your mouse long enough that the computer shuts off. Just sounds like a headache all around.

what exactly does it track? time spent on each application?
BlueJays2591

Time spent at the computer. The computer turns off very quickly without use, maybe 90-120 seconds. So it tracks all of that usage. It's very strange.

that is fucking insane. especially in sales!!! why do they care how much time you spend in front of the computer. they should care about results, and if results are not there, then care about shit like this.

Yeah makes you wonder how many companies are actually tracking time worked. Might be the push to go back to the office. If my performance drops, that's one thing. But for every person in the company to be tracked like this is ridiculous
