Another drop-in win. Stopped by this account while I was being shadowed by a new recruit. Came in and the decision maker agreed to entertain our presence for a brief moment. Informed us that he was about to get interviewed by the local news in ~5 minutes so that's all the time we had. I managed to generate enough intrigue in that time to get him to agree to a demo the following week. Booked it on his calendar then and there.
Demo comes around and it was one of those rare occasions where they show their hand completely right off the bat. We spoke to all of his pain points and he disclosed that his org is flush with cash and they're ready to spend it. Ran another demo a couple of weeks later with some additional stakeholders. Followed up with him the week after and he told me "I think we're ready to press 'go' on this."
Contract went out yesterday and came back in, signed, a few minutes ago.
