Reaching out to Hiring Mangers/Recruiters!!

Like a lot of people in the tech sales world, I was impacted by the layoffs earlier this month and I've been applying to a number of places and have not heard back from any companies. I have solid 5 years of experiences in all aspects of sales, (SDR, AE, AM) and am looking for my next role.

I know I must get creative and reach out to recruiters & hiring managers individually to even see an interview. Any recommendations on what would be good to say in order to get the connection started?

Like all outreach its good to tailor as much as possible. Comment on the exact Job Description or how your experience is similar to them before they started.

You can’t base your search on hitting “apply” on LI, like 500 other people. You need to dig deeper and do more to get noticed.

Definitely get personal! Reach out to individual hiring managers and team leads who you know are dealing with the positions you're applying for. The virtual coffee idea is great.
