Reactivated LinkedIn Sales Nav Account?

Current company doesn't use Sales Nav, last two companies did. The license that appears to have been reactivated was not my last employer, but two employers ago. And the saved search is from when I started that job, not towards the end of my employment there. Is this a glitch, or is something going on I should be concerned about? How does an old Sales Nav account suddenly go live again?

Never had this happen to me, my guess is your former employee blindly renewed your license to Sales Nav.

I would double check LinkedIn doesn't have access to your credit card info for billing purposes, so you won't get charged. Also check your email to see if you accidently started a trial.

Its definitely a weird thing, but I would assume the issue is with the employer not you

When I was there, the SDR team was me (representing NA), two in South America, and four in Europe. Five total AEs for the company. That's like 12 licenses. Just looking at LinkedIn the headcount hasn't changed.

My saved searches accompanied me when I switched jobs - but my current company holds SalesNav licenses. I just had to clean up my old searches so that what I am seeing is relevant.
It's interesting that you're seeing SN now. As Kosta recommended, make sure they're not billing you. Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you. If it's useful, use it but don't be surprised if it vanishes.

Yeah it's weird. I looked at the email associated with the license is for the company I worked for from January-October 2021. They purchased licenses for us in March, but I used it up until the day I turned in my notice. So if they simply reactivated the license by accident you would think all of my activity would be saved.

My only worry with using it is I don't want them coming after me for their costs. I know it's not my fault, but I know it's not my license so I don't want to use something that doesn't belong to me. Maybe I should reach out to the CEO and let him know.

Hi, did anything come of this in the end? I'm experiencing something similar at the moment

I reached out to the CEO. He never replied, but as it turns out that was the same week he was ousted from his position, so I'm guessing he had other things going on. But a few days later my LinkedIn was back to normal. I talked to another guy I worked with at the company (who is also no longer there) and he didn't notice anything on his LinkedIn, so it might have just been me.

SalesNav license is shit expensive! If your old employer ever wronged you, don't tell them about the boo-boo they made here. ๐Ÿฅ‚

Just make sure that your not going to get dinged yourself.

This sounds like you're old employer did a blanket renewal and forgot to remove you from it.
