I know we are not allowed to recruit, so please take down this post but has anyone used a recruiter in the past that they could recommend?

I am having a hell of a time with significant sales exp in healthcare finding a new position.

Been about 6 months of the apply/no response game and im frankly annoyed haha

Recruiters are a double-edged sword. They're your best friend when they think you will make them money and will ghost you the rest of the time.

I assume you have extensively researched recruiters in your chosen field on LI? And via Google too?

I would start reaching out to the companies you want to work for and network with them prior to when a job is announced.

There are some very good SAAS recruiting agencies. @sahilis a great resource as well however, provided this is ok to do check out Pursuit sales solutions in Texas, they recruit globally, Right Choice resources, Gregg who owns it is terrific.

I have never got a role from a staffing recruiter but got a ton of old messages from them. Have you reached out to all the past recruiters who have pinged you? That might be a good start.

Recruiters have largely been garbage for me, aside from the last one that reached out to me and put me in touch with my current employer.

I’ve used an independent recruiter before. He was incredibly helpful.

My recommendation though is to reach out direct to hiring managers. When I was hiring earlier this year I prayed candidates would send me a message, so I didn’t have to rely on my internal recruiting team.

Few people are hiring right now, and tons of recruiters have been laid off as companies plan for the downturn.

That is likely most of what you’re facing. To be sure, you might check your resume and ensure it is dialed.
