This is the fastest close I've had to date. Technically I started talking to this guy 3 weeks ago but no real opportunity generated until I met with him at a conference last week. We talked for about a half hour and set up time to continue that conversation yesterday.
Follow up conversation went awesome. I knew all of his objections before he could throw them out there and cleared that mine field with ease. Found out that he spoke to my biggest client while at the conference as well and they gave a glowing reccomendation. Answered a few technical questions, provided a few data points.
Just got the wire in today.
If you're counting when I first made contact with this guy 3 week close. If you're counting when the op was legitimately generated this was a 6 day close.
