๐Ÿคข Did your stomach just drop? ๐Ÿคข

Most of the salespeople I know would rather dive face-first into an empty pool than present in-front of their peers.

Do we avoid professional development activities because of fear of discomfort? ๐Ÿค” What commitments do you make to empowering yourself professionally?

If we go to the gym or consistently do some sort of physical activity, we expect positive results. Whether it's to be healthier, lose weight, or to build muscle - commitment is required.

The brain is a muscle, and we need to work it out with activities like roleplaying. Again, that takes commitment - but it works!

Making the commitment to take part or better yet, seek role-plays or any other opportunity to master skills is as simple as deciding - yes, this is a great opportunity to get some repetition.

What are some other activities that level-up your skillz?

Indeed - I figured since I wrote the original post, I would share hereโ€ฆ.

Didnโ€™t realize there were rules against thatโ€ฆ. Thanks for the heads up

No rules, just a strong preference for no soapboxes, more conversation. It's a solid LI post.

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Yes itโ€™s kinda LinkedIn-ish. But still good advice.

One thing which worked for me in the past is identifying accounts which I could afford to make mistakes on. Smaller accounts which wouldnโ€™t move the needle much if they did or did not buy. That way I get to polish my pitch and NOT role playing (which outside a ComicCon we all hate).

I don't like doing roleplaying because I'd rather use that time talking to actual prospects/clients :)
