Hi! Working for a public SaaS company in a lead gen role (pre-AE). Company has awesome sales org, and in year and a half I’ll be an AE. Strict promotion progression until then, but it seems like after people get to SMB/MM AE they jump and have frustrations.
I have an offer from a fortune 30 company that would triple my income (literally) and the majority of it is based. This role is an executive dev program and is non-quota during the year and a half rotation. I have to move cities and break up with my current job where I’m a leader and my management gives me a ton of trust and autonomy. Basically the choice is big fish small pond or hopefully not to small of a fish in a huge pond
do I spend the year and a half at my current job becoming AE or jump and take 3x money, no quota, and becoming an ent AE post-program?
