Been having fun with these dumb/fun stories lately so I'll share another from last week.
SKO wraps up last Thursday, we charge into happy hour for a couple hours before heading to the awards dinner.
This sales team as a lot of new parents itching for a night away from the spouse and baby...
One particular new parent, we'll call him Tyler, was celebrating presidents club and a big year overall.
Dinner started at 7, awards around 8, and my guy was obliterated before awards started.
Tyler was quickly becoming the center of attention heckling while flagrantly smoking a juul.
One of the last awards announced happened to be a pregnant woman who crushed her number.
After she accepts her award and the clapping is stopping and she's still on stage, Tyler yells out,
"HAVE THE BABY NOW!"
It sounded like his mouth was full of peanut butter. The room erupted in laughter and wide side-eyes as we checked the faces of the execs.
He proceeded to wear a mullet wig the rest of the night and celebrate his well earned award.
