Slacking Customers/Prospects

Have you used Slack's external chat feature?

This has recently been a game-changer for me with my prospects/customers that use Slack. Things move faster, open lines of communication, you can see when they are active... etc.

If people are interested I'll explain some more of the pros/cons I've experienced so far.

Have you used this feature from Slack?

Yes, I open a joint Slack room with every prospect (that has Slack anyway). If they are not open to that then I push for a texting basis, but Slack is incredibly helpful especially in deals with tight timelines.

Of course! Assuming your Slack admin has this feature turned on (it's free), all you do is click the + next to "connections" towards the top left of the group and DM panel on left. You simply enter your prospect's email and their admin approves/declines.

Used to use teams like that with some key customers where the relationship was strong and needed instant responses

I've added plenty clients in to a Zoom chat group! So much easier to communicate there then over phone/email for the quick questions and updates.
