Strangest place you've ever met a prospect?

I was at a bar on a Wednesday. I'm in sales, relax. My buddy slides up to the hotties and starts chatting them up, and I notice they're there with a guy twice their age. Turns out to be the owner of the business. Asked what I do, I gave him the pitch, he was super keen. Showed up late and hung over the next day with the business card of the biggest deal that would close that quarter.

I had a colleague who chatted up the woman next to him on the plane (business class, I think) and found out she was a c-level prospect in his territory. Basically ran most of a sales process in 2 hours sitting next to her, landed, sent her the contract, and had a deal signed the next day. That guy was a killer.
