Quick Search I saw Dropbox, my advice is look at the academy here for tips on the search and the different between your roles.

Thank you! Iโve started looking, but there are so many options out there itโs slightly daunting. But I have to remember Iโm not signing my life away this time.

Exactly, important decision still, but you aren't signing your life away. Lots of great information here in the academy and using the search bar. This info help me land a role

ton of awesome companies in Raleigh! I live in downtown. RedHat, Cohesity, Pendo, Dude Solutions, Citrix, Quorum, Qualtrix, Abrigo, Channel Advisor, SingleStore, just to name a few. Go on LinkedIn and search for SDR/BDR jobs in RTP. Literally hundreds will come up.

Thank you for the list! I have looked at Red Hat a bit and have a couple calls set up today with Varonis and Uber.

I had a prescreen with a recruiter from Varonis on Friday. Iโm hoping that I get to talk to the hiring manager next.

North hills is cool and all, but itโs so spread out compared to downtown. I love being able to walk to anything and everything

I wanted to do 511, couldn't convince my girlfriend the extra money was worth it unfortunately. skyhouse ended up being like 800 a month cheaper.

Some large companies like ServiceNow actually have specific programs to hire veterans into sales positions. I would google around and see if there are any with large presence in Raleigh (almost everyone is these days now that Apple is building their campus). SAS is worth a look.

personally, i would recommend looking for remote roles. even if they have an office in raleigh. so much better lifestyle imo.

looking at some of the recommendations i don't see Zscaler which is a great company and has a phenomenal BDR org which is where you will likely need to start if you want to work into high w2 tech sales.
I would avoid channeladvisors at all costs
cisco has a "MISL" military in sales leadership org run out of their RTP campus and are thoughtful about hiring vets. could likely find a role straight into virtual sales at cisco. great job stability and benefits, earnings opportunity not as high as high growth saas
pendo is another in the high growth i hear a lot of great things about and BMC software for more established but not F50 company
just be prepared to interview for bdr roles. but like said, quick google and you will find that their is a large tech hub (esp inside sales) in cary and raleigh
