Updating salesforce opps via slack

I can’t be the only one frustrated how slow salesforce can be to load. I saw that slack gives you the opportunity (pun intended) to update sfdc with slash commands.

Does anyone here have experience with this to share? Did it make life more comfortable? Any other solution to keeping your opps up to date with minimum effort?

I've never done it, but I'm waiting for the day that Salesforce does something with the fact that they spent $28 billion on Slack...

Man, I inevitably always have to switch back and forth between 'Classic' and 'Lighting' because of some janky config. Is that just me?

No. I stay in Classic for that reason. Oh and the blue is easier on my eyes. Lighting gives me a headache.

Outlook automatically syncs over hubspot if you do the settings correctly

Thanks for the reply! Yeah it does update the activity history but not the properties. Then again so does GSuite with SFDC. I
love HubSpot btw. Very user friendly under a certain ARR. SFDC is more customisable and more suited to growth as long as you have dedicated people on Sales Ops to scale and maintain it. Very slow and cumbersome to update though. Hence why I’m looking to recommend a solution/process internally. Hoping the community here will have some experience to share :)

the properties depend whether your prospect is on hubspot or was then it can fill automatically or so I noticed. But yea I agree usually we focus on filling a few things in the properties not all of them
