WFM Desk/Chair

Given a lot of us find ourselves working from home, I'm falling prey to the notion of a standing desk to save my precious spine from sitting hunched over all day. What do you savages do to stay comfortable working from home?

I'm using a regular chair at the moment, but want to get a convertible desk and proper ergonomic chair when I move and have a proper office.

If I didn’t already have a great desk I would definitely look into one of those standing desks that go up and down.

Flexispot desk, trust me. I got mine for $200 and I love it. I have an ergonomic chair as well so I can mix it up during the day.

Okay, cool! I’ll give them a look. I was looking for something on the cheaper side so $200 is definitely in the range.

Uplift standing desk hands down is one of the best big purchases I’ve made for myself. If you like going to the gym having a standing desk is good because your hips don’t get as tight from standing. But your ankles might get a little stiff if you stand all day. It’s good having the option of standing or sitting

Ergonomic chair FOR SURE. I have a standing desk but standing all day can have the same if not worse outcomes as sitting.

Get something with lumbar support for when you do sit. Your joints will thank you even if your wallet is mad in the beginning.

i really don’t prefer standing as much. maybe every once in awhile, but i definitely prefer to sit at my desk. with that being said, invest in a high quality chair.

I built a standing desk. I keep some foam squares to stand on when I want to stand, and I also built a barstool that’s exactly tall enough to make me sit up straight in order to use my mouse and keyboard (for when I get fatigued)

I find I’m most productive when I can easily sit or stand whenever I want

It usually takes me a few hours to get really worn out, and usually then I’ll take a break and sit on the couch or go take a shit or something (not at the same time)
