Irrelevant. They aren’t jobs you should be taking.

Then get equity in lieu of cash payment. Never work for just commission.

Great minds.. equitywas proposed in lieu of retainer "maybe" downstream if it's a lovefest - said the co-founders

Never worked for a start up but would you take the equity? I would assume it would take a while for that to turn into real $$ and has a chance of turning into $0.

Again no expertise in this at all. it’s more I am interested in those Bravado Flex roles. And majority of the roles being 100% commish I find more appealing vs 100% equity

If they want you to work commission only you should ask what their margins are on the sale of their service and they should be willing to give half. So if they're making 60-70% on the sale of the product you should ask for 50% of the 60-70%.

None of the above. Commission there will come across as...

Commission only should be generous and juicy. If you're not getting at least a 50/50 split, you're wasting your time honestly.

This sounds reasonable if you’re bent on taking the offer. But OP, keep in mind you’re likely on a plan that offers zero longevity

Never take commission only. If you are taking multiple products to resell, it would to have to include a based stipend (or salary) to cover selling expenses. Unless you are starting an agency, in which case it would be 10-50% depending on the product, sales cycle, price, and how much you are paying your people.

1/ Like everyone said, commission-only is typically a red flag.
2/ That being said, I could see myself doing commission-only sales as a side hustle for very early, very lean team that I believed in. In this case, the sales position is not just a straight sales position - it actually requires a ton of process building as well. You *may* also need to educate the team on revenue and advocate for the customers.
I wouldn't do this work for less than 50% commission.
