On all honesty - as much as you can get. And don’t bank on OTE either unless they can fully document it and guarantee it.
Usually though comp is ~50/50 base-commish split, give or take a bit. And you need to take into account that moving to a sales role from a technical role will pay less in base but hopefully more in Overall earnings, assuming you can sell.

Also, SE and AE can be interchangeable or mean different things. AE = account executive? SE = ?

It’s never enough :) In all seriousness have you checked some of the published data? Depends on so many things mentioned by ☕️ plus whether it’s a O/B, Inbound role etc etc.

I have heard that is is 4-6x, so $165-250k OTE (split 50/50) depending on the transaction type, how sticky the ARR, sales cycle, etc. also, is commission capped? Anything else to throw in?

assuming standard SaaS, they expect to pay you 20% of your Quota, on a 50/50 split, so around $100k.

100k base for most SaaS product I have seen on a 1m quota. Seen as high as 150 and as low as 80 personally.
