Which base-salary is a good base-salary?

I know this may vary by country/market/company, but what should we expect to get as a first base salary for software-tech BDR?

Really depends on whether the company is a startup vs established company, what city you're in, how the commission/base salary is setup, your level of experience...

The OTE for an SDR is anywhere from $45-85k depending on region. Obviously it's a bit skewed due to silicon valley, but expect average earnings for a SaaS company to be around $70k at 100%

I'd say $40k should be your floor. Anything below that, you better be in a low cost area.

Always research and compare salaries from other companies based on their qualifications, requirements, and work. Come in prepared to explain why you deserve the number you think you deserve.

Depends on the commission structure, but I would aim for $50k+, or as close to $50k as you can get. Especially in software/tech, unless its a new start up. but as a first job, i would recommend staying away from start ups. thats how you learn bad habits from those who have no clue what they're talking about. just my opinion.
