haha! Well the idea is that based on the information people give, they will start to earn reputation in certain expertise areas as well as followers (this is being built). So that way, its meritocracy of the content itself and not the person. So, over time, you just might find user Potato_in_my_ass gives the best advice on cold calling... and it doesnt matter who they are. Just that their stuff works!
Also if people have questions about interview processes and dont want their coworkers to see them posting about wanting to leave their current job, this is the way to do it. The lack on anonymity is, in my opinion, what holds many other communities back.
