Working on Weekends

I find my self constantly responding to emails and doing work over the weekend. Is it because i dont want to be around my family or that im just bored and feel like there is always work that i can do. Regardless, feel overwhelmed and would love to see who else is working weekends and why (That doesn't own there own business)

I use a few hours Saturday morning to prep for the week. Get weekly plans out. Pull reports for the week, send recaps and then unplug everything.

I work weekends. I'm B2B, none of my clients are working. But I still look at the news, see what major projects are happening in the area, reach out on LinkedIn.

Same, I feel behind if I don't do something work related 6 days a week minimum. Don't have to get ready if you stay ready.

I only do if I have a big meeting or deadline Monday to prep for. I turn off all work notifications during the weekend. They can call my cell if it’s an emergency.

I find I can get most of my work done during the week, but if it's an emergency I will step up and work on a weekend

There is almost absolutely nothing that would ever call for sales reps working on the weekend unless your customer is as well and is built into your work culture.

Find time to unplug or it will catch up to you - one thing you never get back is time

I'm a firm believer in accountability and doing what needs to be done, but work on the weekends seems like a good way to set yourself up for unproductive week days and burn out

I work when work comes. Don't believe in 9-5 or weekend offs. I will scatter my work throughout so I'm never working too much any given day. Of course there are some off days to this but mostly it's scattered throughout
