Advice: New WR Members

Some of the newbies are getting downvoted into oblivion and losing commish! Young BTQ was new once and is here to help.

Here are some tips to prevent getting BTFO by Savages of the WR:

Use the Search Bar - before asking a question check the search bar out. Chances are someone asked a similar question before!
Posting articles - We don't care about the article UNLESS you have some of your own commentary behind it. You will get crapped on unless you provide valuable insights on why your shared it to us.
This isn't the place for LI content - ask questions and share your knowledge. Stop copying & pasting LI content, I didn't log in to see a fucking poem with emojis on each line
Share lessons and war stories, not platitudes!

That's all I got. There's great people in here always willing to help answer your questions or give you feedback. USE THEM!

Thank you for the post, been traveling the past few weeks and haven't had a chance to hop in here much at all with it being EOM and EOQ now but assume there has been a whole lot of questions that could have been asked with a simple search.

Also, some people are at least “trying” to participate. We should also try not to react negatively. Use it as a teaching moment. Since the war room is mostly self policed not everyone will come in aware of every rule. Obviously some posts are just crap, but if there is at least an attempt to interact correctly, I’d rather show how they can interact positively moving forward, instead of downvoting them off Bravado. We want MORE quality users and content, so let’s try to be welcoming when we can.
