AI in Sales?

I have some friends in ecommerce who are using AI to generate images, content, etc. Seems like a disruptive technology for sure.

But....Has anyone figured out how to leverage it well as a salesperson? It's generated me some (bad) emails, but that seems to be it.

Maybe generating list of potential companies to sell to? Interested to hear if anyone's played around.

I’ve used it to shortcut long, structured, formal proposals that just generally need more words, but not without a long word-for-word edit. Otherwise, it’s absolutely not replacing any of us any time soon.

The topic has been beaten to death. Hit the search bar.

We need a function that scans any post for 'AI' and prompts them to use the search bar before it actually goes live..

I have used it to help with proposals. That’s about it.

I don’t know, I think AI is super helpful, the prompts are the real deal, definitely helps when your organization is pro-AI.

I use it for emails, content, subject lines even. Also, helps in my LinkedIn game.

I think the more you dig deep, more you can see the value it can add.

There are companies right now that are doing some solid work. Copy.ai is one of them!

I’ve used it as targeting (who is in the space) and specifics about the company for prep work. It saves a decent amount of time on the research about the company, who to target, what to look at. Just gotta hope it’s right.

Also, it is a great grammar checker

I've yet to find a use case for AI when meeting with clients face-to-face...

Gong's AI follow-up emails is pretty solid, obviously needs some editing.
Also use it to read through sustainability/SEC reporting for gaps I can leverage.

Let me give you some advice:

Open a dialogue, explaining exactly what your company does and explain your product (if it doesnt already know) you can ask it first.

Then proceed to ask it to craft some discovery questions, you can specify 'with the SPIN method' or whatever sales methodology you have in mind.
Do the same for every other part of of your process and bam! You have some awesome tailored sales questions you can lean on and improve on - You can even get it to provide solutions and ask it for common pains if you know your target persona and industry..
I have found this to be really useful, it can go really deep! Ofcourse its best for giving ideas and wont plug all the gaps but it often gives me angles I have forgotten so yeah super useful in this regard.

I’ve seen it used for prospecting and generating automated emails. Am slowly working on implementing a few of these into my own workflows to see what’s what. Will report back what the robots do 🤖

AI in Sales: The Ultimate Force Multiplier (And Why It’s a Non-Negotiable Skill Now)
Love this breakdown, and I couldn’t agree more—if you’re not using AI in sales, you’re leaving money on the table. The way I see it, AI is no longer a “nice-to-have” tool—it’s the new baseline for top performers. The reps who integrate AI seamlessly into their workflow will outpace, out-learn, and out-close everyone else. How I’m Leveraging AI in Sales TodayI’ve been using Gemini, ChatGPT, and Grok, but also incorporating AI into broader sales processes beyond just prospect research and copywriting. Here’s what’s been working:🔍 Deep Account & Prospect Research

AI helps analyze 10-Ks, earnings reports, and industry trends in minutes instead of hours.
Grok’s Twitter/X scraping is a game-changer—being able to see real-time conversations from execs helps craft hyper-relevant outreach.
ChatGPT is excellent at summarizing company reports and LinkedIn activity to personalize pitches.
💡 AI for Sales Strategy & Positioning

I use AI to break down competitors’ sales tactics and position my offering more strategically.
Market shifts? AI helps predict buying trends, so I can adjust my pitch before my competitors do.
✍️ Hyper-Personalized Outreach (That Doesn’t Sound Like AI)

AI can write emails fast, but they still need a human touch.

My rule: AI drafts it, I edit and humanize it.
Combining AI-powered insights (from ChatGPT/Grok) with real buyer pain points creates killer messaging.
📊 AI for Forecasting & Deal Coaching

AI-powered CRM tools (Gong, Clari, etc.) help analyze deal risks and pipeline health.
AI listens to sales calls, flags objection-handling gaps, and even recommends better follow-up questions.
Power Rankings & Why It’s All About Use Case🔥 1. Grok – Best for live data scraping + real-time market insights. If you rely on fresh data (especially in fast-moving industries like tech), this is the tool.🔥 2. ChatGPT – Best for structured thinking, deep research, and writing long-form content (emails, pitch decks, sales scripts).🔥 3. Gemini – Good potential, but lacking depth in responses compared to the others. Still waiting for it to level up.AI Won’t Replace Sales Reps—But It Will Replace Those Who Don’t AdaptThe biggest misconception? That AI will “replace” salespeople. It won’t. But sellers who don’t adopt AI will fall behind those who do. AI allows reps to sell smarter, faster, and with better data, which is ultimately what wins deals. So now I’m curious—what’s been your biggest AI-driven sales win so far? 🚀 Let’s swap notes.

An Open Invitation: Review My AI in Sales & Marketing Course Content
Beyond applying AI in my own sales process, I’m also developing and teaching a university-level course on AI in Sales & Marketing, designed to help the next generation of sellers master AI-driven prospecting, deal execution, and pipeline management. The course covers:
✅ How AI is reshaping the sales funnel from lead gen to forecasting
✅ AI-driven personalization & automation that actually converts
✅ The future of sales leadership with AI—how to coach, strategize, and win at scale
I’d love for some of you in the Bravado community to take a look at the content, give feedback, and share what you’d like to see in an AI sales course.
If you’re interested, DM me or drop a comment below, and I’ll send over a preview!
