Are Emojis in sales emails appropriate?

I like using emojis because I feel like it sets my emails apart from the rest in their inbox. However, I also understand how this can be perceived as informal and unprofessional. What do you think?

It really just depends who you are sending it to. Sending to old people that work in finance? Probably not. Younger marketing managers working in tech, probably fine.

agreed. Now is there an appropriate time to start using them with the qualified individuals? throw one in on the first email? or, wait until after the relationship is established through a phone/video call?

Cold outreach, hell no. It can be useful for warm prospects but its dependent on who you're talking to - know your audience.

Sometimes.

For example, I had to calm down a client today because our warehouse is behind. I sent her a response with one strategically heart emoji.

She's happy with me now.

By definition, I don't think it's professional, but unprofessional isn't always negative.

I would never send in cold emails, and wouldn't ever be the first to send one., but if one is sent to me and the rapport is right, sure I'll mirror it.

I never use them but I'm not opposed to them. I put :) smileys in my emails when I am writing sometimes with prospects I have developed a relationship with which is kind of similar

No at the beginning.  It depends on the rapport and their age group.

I want to hear out the reasons why emojis are seen as unproffesional?

For me it shows we're human, I mean don't drown an email with them but I used them in Linkedin and sometimes even in emails, depending on the message.

We sometimes share memes hahahaha why not if its relevant?

If that's the first (or first couple) of emails you're sending, fuck off with the emojis. If you have a relationship, and the vibe is right (or they do it first), then go for it. Just beware it probably won't close the deal, but it might kill it.

If they open the emoji door first, yes. Otherwise, never.
