Are you receiving prospecting emails?

Question

I seem to be getting 3-7 emails weekly from other reps trying to sell their products. I am in AE role and I wonder did they not do their research properly

Some then send a follow up email... hey looks like you clicked on this so here is another email

I would not spam the whole company with cold emails or is this a technique that is used that I am unaware of? Are the times that desperate?

I just delete them unless they give me ideas on how to improve my own prospecting

I'm always looking at other reps outreach to R&D (rob & duplicate) anything I feel can help my language in outgoing emails. Generally it's just spammy garbage though, but how can we get angry at it? Pot calling the kettle black, and I've gotten pointed in the right direction by all kinds of people back when used to spam all day every day.

yes, all the time. And they remind me constantly of how bad most people are at (1) writing & (2) making a convincing argument that they deserve any of my time.

I recently went to a conference for military adjacent technology, and the emails I’m getting from that event are wild. Shockingly enough in my role I don’t need advanced micro recorders or software that can identify people from security cameras.
