Baby Steps Update

Well I've been doing my part to make the best of this poopshow and a couple baby step updates. 1st the yoyo "marketing consultant" is not being renewed after June and the person I recommended is coming on to help my dept. And slowly but surely I got buy-in for a sales & marketing automation platform (Apollo) and after 2 days and sending about 400 cold emails it has produced more results then this company has had in 2 yrs but of course the one eggplant says, the data isn't good but has only made 6 calls......... 6 MF'N CALLS!!!! and the other 70+ yr old dude doesn't want to call an organization that has more than 1 location. I will say, I like it and it's doing what it's supposed to but if an opportunity isn't handed to these guys on a silver plater, nothing works. Stay tuned for week 2.

Sounds like progress. I remember you talking about needing to clean house. I would keep the pressure on the older people to keep up or get out. Sooner later they will say "I'm too old for this" and just leave. Give them the going away party and then hire someone younger and hungry!

I need 1 or 2 more people to show these dingdongs how it's done. Dude made like 12 calls by noon still complaining and his emails are the ones getting opened the most. He 100% sucks and I've been playing nice even tho he never apologized for the way he talked to me in my 2nd week. He'll be gone soon. Maybe I can get one of his calls for @GeneralCorpto reenact, it would be brilliant since people I call after him tell me how much they hated talking to him.
