Best advice for an SDR to become an SMB REP

For us SDR's who are hoping to become a SMB Rep - whats the best advice you can give us to be doing now to be prepared for the roll

I've trained a lot of SDRs to become sellers, here are the three quick pieces of advice. 

1) Learn the shit out of your product. The more you know about the product, the more qualified you will be to lead calls. 

2) Learn your company's demo process. If you already know how to demo the product by listening to top performers, you are easier to train. If you're easier to train, you're easier to ramp. 

3) Learn your industry, your buyers, and your clients. If you know WHY someone buys from your company and you can tell specific stories on use cases, you'll be a better closer.

Then, most importantly, do all of that while still crushing your quota.
