I just got fired for performance after being the only enterprise AE to hit quota (179%) and make club. While I process the heartbreak, are there any companies we can speak highly of?! Looking for some faith ⭐️

I've never heard performance being given as a reason to let a rep go who overexceeded like this.
Unless there's something else going on, this sounds really shady and odd.
Since I've not heard of this before, I'd say you'll probably never run into this again.

Shitty sales managers and inexperience plus nepotism.

Salesforce isn’t that anymore. You find this out in interviews by asking the tough questions.
“Who was the last rep to blow out quota? What happened to their quota the next year? Are they still with the company? Did they get promoted?
Have you ever not paid a rep out on commissions or changed a comp plan mid year?
Do you value investors more than employees?
Take the responses with a grain of salt and make your own determination.

Toyota companies are the best companies I've worked for. I've worked on the automotive sales side and also on the commercial intralogistics side.

My fav is my current employer. Great product-market fit. Extremely competent technical team. An executive team that actually listens.

The downsides are also upsides for me. It's a very early stage company so there's a significant lack of sales process and clunky business processes. This all means that I get a huge voice in all those and I get to shape the revenue org as I like. Comp is pretty good, too, because I'm the de facto head of sales.
