Iโm new to the WR and you crazy folks out there. Love this community already!
First some context: in the past, Iโve already gained some sales experience (e.g. selling olive oil to restaurants, working as a state certified insurance broker and financial advisor etc.), but Iโm new to the B2B (vertical) SaaS world.
End of 2022, I joined a VC backed pre-seed start-up as the first employee and weโre doing pretty well, currently overachieving our goals for a nice Seed round. I love the culture, great founders & customers love the product.
As weโre continuing to grow, I want to grow fast on my skills, learning how to become a great seller myself but also learning how to shape a sales organization.
Connected to this, I also want to intentionally set my own career path.
Currently reading some books etc. but in the past, I strongly appreciated the support I received from my two mentors, which have been great sparring partners.
Now my ask: Do you have people in mind that might have been in the same shoes before and could give good advice? Or who do you genuinely appreciate as a sales person? It does not need to be a public coach/ influencer, but could also be your colleague.
What value I can provide: I myself am supporting a group of Highschool students from 11 schools, helping them to make the right first step in their studies & job. Therefore, good advice will be multiplied and have an impact on the life of many growth oriented people.
