beyond applying, what else can I do to land an interview?

Anotha one,

It's easy to click, upload, and submit, but there has got to be some good ideas out there as far as getting the attention that seperates you from the rest. I've tried a few ways that seemed to actually have some success but im wondering if there any stories/advide out there.

Heavily use LI to find anyone in your target company you can network with - college alumni, former colleagues, or just cold call. Any way you can get someone to forward your resume to the right person is helpful.

Customize your resume like your emails and make it as relevant as possible for the role. Networking really helped me. Start reading available reviews before applying for the roles just to make sure you are not wasting time interviewing for the company that you won’t join.

Earlier in my career, spray and pray kind of worked.

Now, I’m heavily depending on my network, i mean all of my network like friends from uni, ex co workers, linkedin connection, anyone really that knows me is a potentially champion for my next job :)

I used to do a lot of volunteer consulting too so that helped me make some valuable connections too.

For your current job search, try messaging some of the key people and potential hiring managers at your target company on linkedin too, never hurts!

I think you're onto something

That, and tailoring you resume, plus some direct reach out to hiring managers (though that usually works best at smaller to mid-size organizations) (and works even better with twerking)

"nether regions" --> Hell, the Underworld, or any place of darkness or eternal suffering Euphemism or slang for thebuttocks, groin, andgenitalsof the human body, separately or collectively

catchy personalised notes to the hiring manager / HR.

create new resumes depending on what the role demands, and what the job description says. That way, they know you did your research.
