Business Plan/QBR's

What's up WR,

End of quarter means a few things, but one of them is quarterly business reviews. I've consistently hit my numbers in terms of quota attainment, but have fallen way short when it comes to putting pen to paper and giving management an idea of where my heads at and proof that I can be successful moving forward in the shape of a business plan for my territory. Any advice on where to start/what to include that can check those boxes for the bosses?

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Start with attainment. You rocked it and you should focus on that.

Some general thoughts:

-Find somebody who you think does a good job and ask them for your help
-Talk to your manager and ask for help
-OR just remember that QBRs are a box-checking exercise. You're constantly hitting quota. Management doesn't give a shit how you're doing it. Put down something, make up a process, who cares. Just keep hitting and play the game.

For sure CaneWolf. Iโ€™ve been in and out of different rackets but this is my first corporate sales job. Never understand why we do them on the 1st, but that probably speaks to how much of a box checking exercise they are. Trying to get used to having more โ€œanswersโ€ and develop a method to my madness

It's a check the box exercise. I'd come up with a template that you can rinse, wash, and reuse for each QBR and spend as little time as you can. If you're hitting, they don't give a shit. If you miss, you may need a little more detail on why and how you recover. But it's a time waster and we all know it.
