Can anyone provide me with a good elevator pitch to use on a prospect!?🤔🤔

i'm currently in the process of learning how to create a simple and informative elevator pitch in my training I'm just hoping to get a little more insight on what others have to provide.

"When I talk to CxOs in the Y industry, they typically have issues with (A,B,C that your product/svc solves). Is that something that you're running into there?"

I don't know what you do. What I can say is that the sale isn't about you, it's about solving problems that prospects have.

In my opinion, it should always be company/product specific. Your manager or other reps would probably be a better resource.

Maybe find a few statistics that show it it helps CXO at X industry when calling them

Yeah, agreed here. You have templates in this post, but always a great idea to ask your manager or coworkers what they are using that they have found to be successful.

Sounds like one of your training exercises is to create one, so ask for feedback and then others how it compares to what they're using successfully.

Easy - and can be used on just the casual questioner who may just be curious, or someone who may turn out to be a decision maker.

'So our product is built for x companies facing y and needing z. We work well with title 1, 2, & 3. By doing this to that to end up getting result. In a nutshell we (make condoms last longer, improve speed to lead down from 5 minutes to 30 seconds driving 5x roi, Allow engineers to put their hands around 3D data) does that sound like something that could be of service to you?

is this something that you are using when someone asks "what do you do?" like classic elevator pitch?

or in a cold call? i try to use a format like:

I help (title/role) do a better job (value prop) so they can (outcome).

so

I help SEO directors do a better job at understanding how their website performs so they can stay above the competition.

(i made that up so sorry if it sucks hahah)

This is a bit like asking for directions without telling people where you start from or where you are going.

We can only provide so much generic guidance.

“We solve x, for y companies because xyz.”

I go by industry challenges, overwhelming solutions in the market and how we help them solve it exactly the way they want. Simple and concise.

These are all great advice. I’ll definitely consider them on my next pitch.

Ask yourself this: when was the last time YOU bought something off a pitch?

Yeah, I can’t recall either.

Pitches are terrible, and crappy sales managers push them. Nothing more annoying than some dipshit assuming what my problems are, following them with generic stats, and then having the arrogance to purport they can solve the problem.

Pitches are a poor man’s tool.

You definitely need to be able to put this together yourself, based on what you do.

There's enough here to get you going.
