Commission Multiplier

Hey Fam,

So my account has a very frequent updates on the commission multiplier and I'm not sure if I'm being treated fairly or not and what are the main factors used to set a reasonable multiplier.

I'm currently tasking an SDR role and it started when I joined the account few years back as 200% (used to get paid double what I made) which was good enough for me at that point.

However it was decreased gradually each year until it became 150% only and some ongoing rumors that they might decrease it again to be only 125% maximum.

Tell us please how's it going with that metric if applicable at your company and how could I take it with the mgmt either to raise it again or at least to keep it fixed!!

Thanks Savages,

Always sucks when they decrease variable comp.

But not unheard of . When i was on full commission, i had a higher commission % during my first year. After year one the commission % was reduced (like 15%) idk how they convinced me this was a cool thing.

your pay should never decrease.

Whenever it does, you know you are working with scammers.

Start sending curricula mate.
