Creative ways to reach out to potential prospects?

Have a bunch of potential customers we want to reach out to - most of our past stuff has been outbound emails that are heavily personalised but we've also had success with random experiments like direct mail with QR codes for people to book calls or sliding letters into offices in coworking buildings saying "howdy neighbour".

Has anyone else had much success with these kinds of experiments? Anything else that has worked well?

I like the direct mail approach. Ive followed that up by a phone call and you can say " let them know its the guy who sent X" that normally helps increase connect rates a bit

@marketrader: I've tried this before, and had a success ratio of 1: 5 (success = getting any kind of response)

- Handwrite the email you want to send
- Click a snap
- Paste the snap into the email
- Add a couple of lines in the email body
- Hit send

This stands out. It's unique. Not a lot of people are doing it. The hard work is cherished.

This is super interesting - does rely on half decent handwriting though ahahah

Out of curiosity what kind of content was this?

Can be any content. The points are for the hard work of writing the message down with your hand. Maybe a shorter email content would better from an email readability standpoint. If you have good penmanship, nothing like it.

Direct mail is pretty useful, doesnt need to be a gift a hand written note does the trick.

I like the idea of direct mail - if you know your prospect is at the office.

What sort of stuff do you find success with? We found no message connection, then a couple of messages saying hi work reasonably well

I use LinkedIn but always attached to something of value, like a white paper or invitation to an -educational- event.

I use LinkedIn a lot. See if you have common connections with that person. Reach out to that connection to see if you can get a warm intro to your prospect. Like your prospects posts. Post content that is relevant to your prospects. I picked up several costumers this way.

i also cold call, cold email, and go to events that I know my prospects will be and introduce myself that way.
