Cultural Assessment on Applications

When applying for jobs, I often encounter cultural assessments where I describe myself, how others perceive me, and my work style. Despite completing them, I've never received an interview. Has anyone cracked the code on understanding what employers are really looking for in these assessments?

Bahhhhh! I just took the same one... twice even. They didn't receive the first one so I had to do it again. That one is this one https://www.predictiveindex.com/

I read the site. My guess was to keep it consistent with the sales related traits. You don't want to be sensitive or pessimistic, etc. Common sense stuff. But alas, as soon as I completed the exercise for the 2nd time, I got the "you're great, we suck" letter.

So no, I have not cracked it. Would be most interested in hearing anyone's success story with it.

I really hate these "assessments". Basically its being administered by people who have never "carried a bag" and don't know the first thing about real selling yet claim to know everything about sales people. Really pisses me off.

That’s what I think too, obviously I pick the words that are positive and are about being a hard worker and innovative, and not “Rude”.

I've sold these for companies that provided them, and done a ton.

Never had an issue with not hearing back, but I'm not a big fan personally.

I think @oldcloserbasically summed it up.

They're all supposed to be tested and validated and not able to be gamed, but I think there's just so much BS involved with them.
